Brittany LaFleur, LCPC-S, RPT
Hi!
I began practicing in 2014 as a Licensed School Counselor and then moved into private practice as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I received my Bachelor’s from the University of Maryland and my Master’s in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I am a Nationally Board Certified Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association. I have a deep passion for aiding individuals in their journey toward becoming their best selves, which is why I started Your Best Self therapeutic services in 2018.
Samantha McMahon, LCSW-C
Hi there! I’m Sam, and I am so glad you are here.
A little bit about me. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Development from the University of Maryland (go Terps!) and went on to earn my Master’s in Social Work with emphasis on Clinical Practice from Columbia University. I have spent the last 7 years as a School Social Worker providing counseling and supporting students’ social and emotional well-being.
Micah Roland, LMSW
Hey There!
I am passionate about providing a comfortable space for someone to truly be themselves. To help someone get from where they are to where they want to be. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from University of Pittsburgh and Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan University (Go Blue!). I am licensed in both Maryland and DC as a Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW).

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from McDaniel College and then went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Counseling from The George Washington University. Along with my work as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor, I currently work as a Professional School Counselor in Montgomery County Public Schools.

Welcome to Your Best Self Therapy! I’m so glad you are taking your next step to become a better version of yourself. My name is Sloane Guber, and I graduated from the George Washington University Counseling program in May of 2020. Since then, I have been working as a professional school counselor at Montgomery County Public School. I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).

I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Maryland and earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Towson University. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families by providing a warm and non-judgmental space to explore life’s challenges. I am committed to bringing a compassionate, supportive, holistic, and culturally sensitive approach to help clients process life experiences and maximize their potential.
